DeMuro, Gilberta (nee LeCrann), 93, died on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  Mrs. DeMuro was born in Brittany, France and moved to Manhattan as a child.  She lived and raised her family in Richfield, where she lived 58 years.  Then moving to Toms River in 2014, before moving to Cape Coral, FL in 2020.  She was a bookkeeper for the family business, Jay Vee Live Poultry in Brooklyn, NY for 28 years.  Gilberta was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony J. DeMuro in 1995 and by their sons, Ronald and Jeffrey DeMuro.  She is survived by her loving son, Steven DeMuro and his wife, Sharon, by her daughter-in-law, Eileen Burke, by her former daughter-in-law, Carolyn Canizzo, by her dear grandchildren, Christopher DeMuro and his wife, Christine, Ronald DeMuro, II and his wife, Chelsey, David DeMuro and his wife, Jasmine, Lori Nakonechny and her husband, Michael, Steven DeMuro, Jr., Amy Socha and her husband, Jason, and Daniel DeMuro, by her cherished great grandchildren, Dylan, Ronald, Angelo, Delaney, Patrick, Michael, and Russell, and by her sister, Dani Marzigliano and her husband, Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10 – 11:30 AM.  A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  You may express your condolences to Gilberta’s family by using our tribute wall.
