Lacava, Alan, 71, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Alan was born in Newark, grew up in Bloomfield and has lived in Lyndhurst for most of his life. He was a Fork Lift Operator for UniSource, Little Ferry before retiring. Alan had a great love for music, especially the Beatles. He played drums in a band with his cousins and was also an avid Yankee fan. Alan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Samuel Lacava and Ann Lacava(nee Juliano) and his brother, Samuel G. Lacava. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Lacava (nee Puleo), his loving daughter, Jessica Lacava and her boyfriend, Beau. Also by his cousins and two nieces.
Prvate cremation under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. Memorial visitation and celebration of life for Alan Lacava will be planned for a later date. You may express condolences to Alan's family by using our tribute wall.
