Obituary of Edward J. Carbone

Carbone, Edward, 80, died on Monday, November 6, 2023.  Mr. Carbone was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident.  A Vietnam War Veteran, He served in the Army from 1964-1966.  He was a truck driver for Davidson, St. Johnsbury and then Tropicana of Jersey City for 40 years, before retiring.   He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Kicyla), just this past August.  He is survived by his children, Claudine Sallustio and her husband, Anthony, Monique Wiatrak and her husband, Christopher and Craig J. Carbone and his wife, Carmelina, by his grandchildren, Jillian, Emily and Anthony Sallustio, Christian and Luke Wiatrak and Serafina and Serena Carbone, by his sister in law, Rosanne Mandragona and her late husband, James, and caretaker, Gladys Rivera.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, November 10, 2023 beginning at 10 am, then to Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington where at 11am a funeral service will held.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project  @ support.woundedwarrioirsproject.org.  You may express condolences by using our tribute wall.
