Gallo, Joseph J., 91, of East Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Mr. Gallo was born in Newark, lived in Lyndhurst until moving in 1996 to East Hanover. He was a Section Chief for Western Electic of Union for 33 years. He then worked in maintenance for The Bergen County Parks Commission for 20 years. Joseph was predeceased by his beloevd wife of 56 years, Ida M. Gallo (nee Alesci) in 2009. He is survived by his loving son, Joseph S. Gallo and his wife, Martha, by his dear grandchildren, Joseph S. Gallo, II and Julia L. Gallo, and by his niece and nephew, Doreen Perna and Ralph Gallo and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 11 AM - 12:45 PM.  A funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst at 1 PM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  You may express your condolences to Joseph's family by using our tribute wall.
