DeMarco, Anita (nee Piazza) 92, of Lyndhurst, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Mrs. DeMarco was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1958. She worked for Nationwide Shipping of Lyndhurst for many years. Anita was predeceased by her beloved husband Carmine De Marco in 2010 and by her sisters, Jessie Maffei and Stella Gannon. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Piazza and his wife, Marianne. Also survived by her loving sons, Carmine DeMarco & his wife, Doreen, Joseph DeMarco & his wife, Noreen, Louis DeMarco & his wife, Carol, Michael DeMarco & his wife, Lisa and Robert DeMarco & his wife, Shauna.
Anita was blessed with a bountiful and beautiful extended family of grandchildren, their spouses, and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 3 - 8 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 14th at 9 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.
