Ruvo,Marie (nee Nucera), 90, died on Monday, November 13, 2023.  Mrs. Ruvo was born and raised and lived most of her life in Lyndhurst.  Well known in town, as "Mrs. Ruvo", Mathematics teacher for 7th and 8th grade, mostly in Roosevelt and Franklin School, where she taught many generations of Lyndhurst children, during her 40+  year career.  Marie was very good at crocheting, her family noting, everyone has a baby blanket made with love from her.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Ruvo in 2015.  Marie is survived by her loving son, Anthony J. Ruvo  "A.J."  & his wife, Sasha and by her cherished grandson, Alex James Ruvo.  She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of education and love continues.  

Relatives and friends are invited to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 9:45 AM.  Funeral Mass will begin at 10AM.  Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  Please Omit flowers and make a donation in Marie's memory to American Cancer Society @ donate.cancer.org.  You may express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
