Bayas, Beatriz M.(nee Ramos), 87, died on Friday, December 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Beatriz was born in Alausi, Ecuador and came to the states in 1971, where she lived in Newark until 2003, when she moved in with her daughter and her family in Kearny.  She has  been a resident of Lyndhurst since 2011.  Beatriz was a hard working woman, who had a heart of pure gold.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching soccer games with her grandsons, and loved listening to the music, nostalgic of her youth. She was committed to her family, here and in Ecuador.  She loved and cared for all who knew her as her own and she will be missed deeply.  Beatriz is survived by her loving daughter, Gabriela Torres and her cherished grandsons, Jeffrey and Jonathan and her siblings, nieces and neohews, here and back in Ecuador. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 begininng 9:30AM.  Funeral Service begins 10:30AM.  private cremation following.  You may send condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
