Ciardella, Anthony T. "Babe," 85, of Paramus, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Mr. Ciardella was born in Jersey CIty, grew up in Lyndhurst and has been a resident of Paramus for the past 38 years. Anthony started working in insurance with Blue Cross Blue Sheild and then became coowner along side his brother, Tom of Financial Group of Paramus for 30 years, retiring 2016. He loved all sports, especially the NY Giants, the NY Mets and the Brooklyn Dodgers. He also loved coaching sports and was an avid golfer. Babe is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Maureen F. Ciardella (Fagan), by his loving children, Anthony T. Ciardella, Jr. and his wife, Kristin, MIchael Ciardella and his wife, Kelly and his daughter, Pamela Wiecoreck and her husband, Ken, and by his grandchildren who were the light of life, Lexi, Logan and Julia. Also survived by his brother, Tom CIardella and his wife, Bernice, by his siter, Mary VanGieri and by nieces, nephews, in-laws and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 3 – 7 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 20th at 9:30 AM with a Funeral Service at 10AM held at the funeral home.
