Obituary of Victor P. Greggi

Greggi, Victor P., 89, died on Monday, February 18, 2013. Mr. Greggi was born in Barnesboro, PA and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 66 years. He was a W.W. II U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran and fought in the battle for Iwo Jima. Mr. Greggi was a member of the Operating Engineer Local #825, Springfield for over 50 years when he retired in 1993. He also was a member of the American Legion #139 and V.F.W. Post #3549 both of Lyndhurst. Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Marie (nee Paolazzi) Greggi, by his loving children, Doreen Trobiano & her husband, Stephen and Victor P. Greggi, Jr. & his wife, Marlena, by his dear grandchildren, Thomas Trobiano and Nicole Greggi and by his sister, Leona Greggi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
