I was lucky enough to have known Georgie pretty much my entire life. He was a one-of-a-kind great guy and an unforgettable character. What I recall most and will always remember about him is that there wasn’t a time when I was in his company that he didn’t make me smile or laugh, sometimes to the point where I could not catch my breath. It was his gift and will forever be a part of his wonderful legacy. May he rest in peace.

George was the first person I met when I moved to Brigantine. He welcomed me not only to Brigantine but into his family. He was known as the mayor, he would be taking his walks and take the time to talk with everyone with a joke or a song I miss him. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you Georgia G.

Dear Giangeruso Family,
I send my Deep and Sincere Sympathy to Georgie's wife, sons, grandsons and great grandsons, brothers and relatives. I spoke to him on the phone about 2 years ago. The last time I saw him was 2010 at my niece's funeral.
Growing up as kids he and Bobby came to my parent's home often with their father to visit his mother. This was in the mid 50s and we lived at 16 Bank Street in Nutley. Georgie, Bobby and I played in that yard and went to many family events over the years. Many years later he purchased that same house and raised his family there.
I've lived in Texas 45 years now. I'm unable to come there for the service but know my thoughts are with everyone.

I was the nextdoor neighbor to George and Diane in Brigantine. After my husband passed away George always called to make sure I was safe. I will miss his singing of many Dion songs. Miss you my friend ❤️
