Obituary of Barbara A Moretto

Moretto, Barbara A.(nee Doxey), 81, died on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  Mrs. Moretto was born and raised in New York City.  She met and married the love of her life, Jimmy Moretto and they moved to Lyndhurst in 1964, where she has lived ever since. Barbara was a homemaker, she raised eight children altogether, her daughter and son, and all of her six grandchildren as her own, along with Jimmy.Barbara is predeceased by her beloved husband, Jimmy Moretto, who died on the same date the 17th of September, 2023. She is survived by her loving daughter,  Gina Jacangelo & her late husband; Victor Jacangelo (5/28/22), by her son, Rocco Moretto;  by her dear grandchildren, Katie Raggi & her husband, Matthew; Jim Moretto; Tyler Wojtowicz & her husband, John; Ashley Sofio & her husband, Christopher; Barbara and Theresa Jacangelo; and by her cherished great-grandchildren; Laura, Willy, and Madeleine; newborn twins, Lilianna Sophia & Joseph Victor; and "on the way," Emma Rose  She is also survived by her sister, Dolores Doxey and by her nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 3 PM-7PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 9AM, then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Private cremation to follow.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Barbara's memory to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital at www.stjudesresearch.org.  You may express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
