Melleno, Felix, 93, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, February 23, 2024.  Mr. Melleno was born and raised in Harrison and moved to East Newark in 1965.  After getting married to his beloved Geraldine, they lived in Belleville for 5 years and then moved to Lyndhurst where they resided for the past 51 years.   He worked as a truck driver for Leo Keller Provisions of Newark for 35 years, then went on to work for Best Provisions of Newark for 10 years and finally Frank's GMC of Lyndhurst for 20 years.  He loved to travel and will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.  Felix was predeceased by his parents, James and Margaret Melleno, by his brother, Nicholas Melleno and his sister, Lucille DiBiase. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Geraldine Melleno (nee Drust), by their loving sons, James Melleno and his wife, Christine and Victor Melleno and his wife, Renee, by their cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Emily, Caroline and Sofia and by his sister-in-law, Sandra Sanders.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 1 at 9 AM then to Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  You may express your condolences to the Melleno family by using our tribute wall.
