Obituary of Gail L. Kapp

Kapp, Gail L. (nee Landells) of Laurel, Delaware died on Thursday, February 29, 2024.  Mrs. Kapp was born in Newark, raised and lived in Lyndhurst most of her life, and was a resident of Laurel, DE since 2021.  Gail was an office administrator for the Lyndhurst Police Department for 40 years, retiring in 2014.  She loved baking, especially her cookies that she shared with everyone.  Gail is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Gordon B. Kapp, by their loving children, William Kapp and his wife, Lauren, Brian Kapp and his wife, Jaclyn, and Justin Kapp and his wife, Madison, and by her cherished granddaughter, Blake Lydia.  Gail was second mom to her late sister Carol's children, Tyler and Jenny Landells, whom she affectionately cared for. She is further survived by her dear sisters, Diane Baumann and her husband, John, Kathy Ann Landells, and the late Carol L. Landells (2016), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2 - 6 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 5:30 PM.  Private cremation.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gail’s memory to PACC Foundation, Positive Actions to Conquer Cancer, 112 Tontine Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ.  You may express your condolences to the Kapp family by using our tribute wall.
