Obituary of Joseph Fusco

Fusco, Joseph, 92, of Manalapan and formerly of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, February 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Fusco was born in East Newark, grew up in Harrison and lived in Lyndhurst over 50 years, and has been a resident of Manalapan for the past two years.  Joseph was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War  from 1950-1954.  He worked in Sales fora Chemical Company for many years before retiring.   

He is predeceased by his daughter, Cheryl Ormezzano in 2015 and his son in law, Rickey Quarles in 2022.  Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Nancy (nee Catania), by his loving daughter, Karen Quarles, by his dear grandchildren, Danielle and Gary Gabriel and Jimmy, Tyler and Amanda Ormezzano and by his sister, Mary Dombrowski.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather on Friday, March 8th at 10:30 AM and the funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joseph's memory to Wounded Warriors Project by clicking here  Wounded Warriors Project  .  You may express your condolences to his family by using our tribute wall.
