Savino, Mary A., formerly of North Arlington, died on Monday, March 4, 2024.  Mary was born in New York City, raised in Jersey City, lived in North Arlington, NJ for over 40 years, moving to Murell's Inlet, South Carolina for 7 years and then to Calabash, North Carolina to be near her sister, Fran for the past 7 years.  She worked for Matsil and Sons in Jersey City for 25 years, starting right out of high school.  Mary also worked part time for H& R Block, preparing taxes, before starting her own tax prep business locally.  She retired from ITT after 12 years , where she was a supervisor of finance and service/orders.  Mary was a proud member and active with Planned Happiness Institute in Jersey City.  She loved to travel and spend time with her family.  Mary is predeceased by her parents, Michael Savino & Anna (nee Santomassino) Savino.  She is survived by her loving sister, Fran Fossella & her husband, William, by her nephews, Darin Fossella & his wife, Maria, Jason Fossella and Christopher Fossella & his wife, Marisa.  Also survived by her dear grand nieces, Daniela, Claire, Carisa and Emma.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10 AM - 11:15 AM then to Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington where at 11:30 AM a graveside service will be held.  You may express condolences to Mary’s family by using our tribute wall.
