Kliemisch, Joan, 91, died on Thursday, March 21, 2024.  Mrs. Kliemisch was born and raised in Bronx, NY and moved to Lyndhurst in 1954 when she married her husband, Rudy.  She lived in Whiting before moving to Vero Beach, FL in 2022 where she would spend time both there and in Vernon, NJ.  Mrs. Kliemisch owned Time to Travel Agency in Leonia and then went on to work for Dwight Products in Lyndhurst before retiring in 1994.  She loved traveling, reading, knitting, crocheting, and crafting.  Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudolph Kliemisch in 1976, by her son, Paul Kliemisch, and by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Kliemisch.  She is survived by her loving children, Lenora Kliemisch, Steven Kliemisch, Gail Heinbockle and her husband, Mark, Karen Kliemisch, Keith Kliemisch, and Cindy Hartmann, by her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Dawn, Stacey, Steven Jr., Lacey, Connor, Rudy, John, Kristen, Kyle, Kelly, Richie Jr., Daniel, and Faith, and by many dear great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27th at  9 AM, then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.   You may express your condolences to Joan's family by using our tribute wall.
