Minogue, Mary (nee Kelly) 85, Died Sunday May 19,2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.   Mary was born in Whitegate Co. Clare Ireland.   She studied nursing in England and began her career as an RN at Saint James Hospital, Dublin, Ireland.   Mary immigrated to states at the age of 25, being 1 of 10 children, Mary helped her younger siblings come to the states, providing them with a place to live and help along the way.   In 1964, she married her beloved, Tim Minogue at Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst, where they settled down and began their lives together.   She continued her nursing career at Saint Mary’s hospital in Passaic, NJ and retired from West Hudson Hospital in 1997.  She was very active in the Irish community and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Mom will forever be remembered for her generous spirit and her love of life and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She was our matriarch; our rock and we will miss her deeply. 

She is predeceased by her parents Kathleen and Jack Kelly and Brothers Mick John Kelly, Paddy Kelly, Seamus Kelly, Timmy Kelly.by her beloved husband of 35 years, Tim Minogue in October of 1999.   She is survived by her daughters, Colette Townsend & her husband, Tim and Patty Minogue.   By her cherished, grandchildren Megan Albright & her husband, Nathen, Kiera and Seamus Townsend and by her sweet great grandchildren, Saoirse and Josie Albright.  Also survived by her siblings, Theresa Galvin (Timothy), Vera Daly (Brendan) Frank Kelly (Eileen) Aiden Kelly (Carol). Her nieces and nephews both in the US, Ireland, and the UK.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc., 403 Ridge Road on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 9:00 AM, then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst, where at 10:30 AM, a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  You may express condolences to Mary’s family by using our tribute wall.
