Walsh, Julia, (née Hauerslev ),  94, died peacefully from this earthly mortal life into eternal life into the hands of our Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at her home with her children by her side.  She is with loved ones who passed before her to rest in eternal peace. Mrs. Walsh was born and raised in Brooklyn, lived in Kearny from 1949 and then moved to Lyndhurst in 1987, where she lived up until. 2022 , when she then moved to New Port Richey, Florida.  She worked as a key punch operator for DuPont Chemical Co in Newark many years before retiring. Julia was a member of the rosary society, Eucharistic minister, alter server, secular Franciscan, among other volunteer work at the church.  Julia is predeceased by her parents Chris Hauerlslev (1968) and Ellen Taggart (1954), beloved husband of 28  Years, John Joseph  Walsh (1977), by her son, Fr. Peter Michael Walsh, OFM (2008) , her daughter Ellen Marie Walsh (2022), brother Jens Christian Hauerslev, grandson Thomas (2022), great grandson Rylan (2017) and daughter-in-law Pat (2016) .  She is survived by her loving children, John Joseph Walsh (Rosemary), Kathleen Walsh, Kevin James Walsh and Margaret Frances Haldie (John), by her dear eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren plus one on the way, many nieces and nephews and their families

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, June  28, 2024 beginning 9:30AM - 11:15AM, then to St. Joseph's RC Church, 120 Hoboken Road ,East Rutherford, where at 11:30AM, a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  You may express condolences to Julia’s family by using our tribute wall.
