Giordano, Ralph  A., 82, of Lyndhurst, died on Sunday, July 28, 2024.  Mr. Giordano was born in Newark, lived in Belleville, where he married his sweetheart, Janet Quartararo and then settled in Lyndhurst, where he has lived ever since.   Ralph served in the United States Army and National Guard 1966-1970.  He was the Owner of Bergen Essex Contracting, Inc., of Lyndhurst, since 1968, when he began the business.  Ralph is predeceased by his beloved wife, Janet ( Nee Quartararo) in 2011.  He is survived by his loving children, Michele Polmann & her husband, Glenn and Ralph S. Giordano & his wife, Cheryl.  He is also survived by his cherished grandsons, Clayton and Michael Polmann, by his brothers and sister, Fred Giordano (Grace), Louis Giordano and Rose Bambo. Ralph will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 2 – 6 PM.  All will gather on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 9AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst, where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington
