Pansini, Sebastiano, 84, of Little Ferry, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.  Mr. Pansini was born in Molfetta, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1972, first settling in Hoboken before moving to Little Ferry in 1988.  Sebastiano worked as a bricklayer in Germany and upon moving to Hoboken, began working as a presser for a coat factory.  In 1978, he joined the Longshoremen's Union where he worked as a lasher at Port Newark.  He was a hardworking man who did what was needed to provide for his family.  Among his passions were spending time with his family, watching soccer, and gardening, especially caring for his fig tree; although keeping the squirrels away was always a challenge. Sebastiano is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Octavia Pansini (nee Mezzina), by their loving children, Ralph Pansini and his wife, Maria and Elisa Pansini, by his cherished grandchildren, Sabrina and Jason, and by his dear family, nieces, and nephews, here and in Italy.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, October 12 at 8:45 AM then to Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 9:45 AM a funeral mass will be offered.
