Monaco, Catherine, (nee Centino), 89, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.  Catherine was born and raised in Hoboken.  She lived in Secaucus for 35 years until 2020, when she moved to North Arlington to live with her daughter, Kathleen.  A lost talent today, Catherine was an excellent typist, winning awards and acolades for her stellar skill.  She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph's of Hoboken, where she was the rectory housekeeper.  Catherine loved the Hallmark Channel , which was on her TV 24/7, along with Fill In and Crossword puzzles, She adored her grandchildren.  The silent TV is defeaning  and she will be missed dearly.  She is predeceased by all of her six brothers and sister, and by her beloved husband , Frank Monaco in 2021.  Catherine is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Reynolds & her husband, Gerard and James Monaco & his wife, Victoria, by her dear grandchildren, Aidan Reynolds and Victoria and James Monaco, Jr. 

Relatives and friends are inivited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9:30AM.  Funeral service begins at 11AM., Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Catherine's memory to a charity of your choice.  You may express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
