Joyce L. Castagna (née Barnickel), 93, of Lyndhurst (formerly of North Arlington and Jersey City), passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Carmine A. Castagna (2009).  Joyce is survived by her children; Philip Castagna and his wife Karen and Susan Fasching and her husband Joseph, her grandchildren; Jaimie and Joseph Fasching and his wife Meghan, Philip Castagna and his wife Nicole, and Dana Sala and her husband Vito. Cherished great-grandmother of Vincent, Jason, Natalie and Viviana.

Joyce was born in the Heights Section of Jersey City to Louise (née Doell) and Charles Barnickel.  She was an executive assistant with Metropolitan Maintenance of Nutley, NJ for many years.

Visiting Monday, December 9, 2024 at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a Catholic Blessing at 12:00 PM.  Inurnment of cremains to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
