Dan was a close colleague during my 34 years at Novartis. He was an honest, warm, friendly person who never showed anger, only compassion. Both being Italian, we often discussed Italian cooking. He would often correct my pronunciation of Italian ingredients. He was my paisan.
To his family, I am so sorry for your loss.
