Volkertzen,Gladys C., 88, left this earth to green pastures on Monday, March 25, 2013. Gladys was born in Bayonne and has been a life long resident of Lyndhurst. She worked for Prudential Insurance, Co., Newark for 42 years. Gladys was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the AARP. She is predeceased by her beloved Fiance, Aloysius Mc Evoy, by her parents and her siblings. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Gladys Duda-Mulligan & her husband, Gary and their son, Kyle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who knew her as having a heart of gold. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst at 10AM. Visiting hours Friday 3-6PM. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Lyndhurst. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gladys' memory to your favorite charity.
