Cecchi, Lucille A. (nee Andriola), of Summit NJ, died on Friday, April 12, 2013 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family after fighting a long and valiant battle with breast cancer for 33 years. Mrs. Cecchi was born in Hackensack, raised in Lyndhurst where she met the love of her life, James D. Cecchi, who predeceased her in 1995. Together, they traveled extensively with their children and each other. She was an avid reader, who, with a cup of coffee and her dog Toby by her side, read the New York Times cover to cover everyday. She was knowledgeable and passionate on a range of topics from the arts and culture to politics. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Lucille was immensely proud and devoted to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by Andrea, Edward and his wife, Regan, James and his wife, Claire, and Lesley & her husband, Joel Rosen, by her brother-in-law, Donald Cecchi,as well as her four grandchildren: Marco Lattimore, James M. Cecchi, and Cella and Olive Cecchi. She will always be remembered as having a generous heart, and buoyant, magnetic spirit. Relatives and friends will be received at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 4-8 PM.
