Magarelli, Joseph M. 76, died on Thursday April 22, 2010. Mr. Magarelli was born in Moonachie, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 52 years. He was an Army Veteran and served during the Korean War from 1953-1955. He was a Product Manager for Bendix Corp, Teterboro and then for Honeywell Corp., Morris Twp, for the past 35 years. He was a Webelo Scout Leader at Sacred Heart Church, one of the original parishioners of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where he was their Church Trustee, and worker for 40 years. A member of Holy Name Society and of the American Legion Barringer-Walker-Lopinto Post #139 all of Lyndhurst. Joseph is survived by his wife, Carol A. (nee Tarallo) Magarelli, his three loving children, Joseph M. Magarelli Jr. and his wife, Diane of Arizona, Adrienne C. Magarelli of Lyndhurst, and Mark M. Magarelli and his wife, Karen of Manalapan, his four dear grandchildren, Breanna Hill, Lena, Nicholas and Christopher Magarelli, his great- granddaughter, Claire Hill, his sisters, Octavia Porcaro, and her husband, Fred, Ann Focarino and brother in law, Joseph Tarallo and his wife, Ginger. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday April 26, 2010 at 8:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hackensack Hospice Inpatient Unit, 336 Prospect Ave, 7th Flr,Hackensack, N.J. 07601.
