Pesile, Darlene M. (nee Plishka), 66, of Little River, SC, formerly of West Milford, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Mrs. Pesile was born in Passaic, raised in Garfield and lived in West Milford for 32 years, where she along with her husband raised her family. She worked as a Secretary for Purdue-Frederick Laboratories of Totowa, retiring in 2002. She had been a resident of Little River, SC since 2002. During retirement, Darlene volunteered as a Child Guardian Ad Litem for the State of South Carolina and was on the Board of Directors for the River Hills Property Owners Association. Darlene was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank A. Pesile in 2009. She is survived by her loving sons, Commander Christopher Pesile, USN and his wife, Wendy of Pensacola, FL and Jason Pesile and his wife, Bei Wang of Jersey City and by her 3 precious grandchildren, Katelyn, Samantha and Andrew Pesile, who brought her so much joy. She is also survived by her brother, Gregory Plishka of Pompton Plains and by her 2 sister in laws, Camille Pabst of Monroe Twp. and Martha Hart of Columbus and by many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to: American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Kittrell Center, Suite 110, Columbia SC 29204
