Leider, Leonard, 85, of Toms River, died on Monday, December 2, 2013. Mr. Leider was born and raised in Passaic, lived in Lyndhurst for 45 years and has been a resident of Toms River for the past 19 years. He was an Executive with Becton Dickinson & Co. of East Rutherford for 35 years retiring in 1985. Leonard was the Past Exalted Ruler & Past District Deputy of the B.P.O.Elks #1505 of Lyndhurst. He was a parishioner and helped raise funds to build Our Lady Queen of Peace Church of Delray Beach, Florida. He worked tirelessly at Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst as well as other organizations and helped friends and family who were in need. Leonard is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Marie (nee Capaccio) Leider, by his loving children, Janice Gaccione & husband, Carmine Teta, MaryAnn Nunno & her husband, Barry, Leonard Leider & his wife, Julie, by his dear grandchildren, Jason, Kelly, Jared, Jeanine, Patricia, Dominique, Ryan, Nicole, Volodya, Tony, Jessica, Nicholas and Kristina, by his great-grandsons, Geoffrey, Breydan and Rylen, and by his brothers, Jacob and Donald Leider. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
