Carnival, Rose (nee Villano), 96, of Lyndhurst, passed away at home, Saturday, December 21, 2013. Born in Clifton, Rose was a resident of Lyndhurst for most of her life. She worked at the American Coat Company as a bookkeeper and was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was loved by everyone. She loved life right to the end, always smiling & laughing with a song to sing. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Carnival (1989). Devoted mother to June Duffy & her husband, Jim and Dennis Carnival. Loving sister to Kay Mascarello. Sister to the late, William Villano & his wife, Frances, Joe Mascarello & his wife, Sue, Nick Villano & his wife, Mary, Vincent Villano & his wife, Kate. Cherished grandmother to James & his wife, Michele, Kimberly & her husband, Alex, Brian & his wife, Valerie and her 6 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Ella, Cassidy, Mason and Brielle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. We are grateful for all the time God put her on this earth, but sad for the hole that her absence will leave in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
