Bogle, Phyllis R., 91, of Lyndhurst, died on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Mrs. Bogle was a life long resident of Lyndhurst. A longtime advocate for education, Phyllis was PTA President and supporter on a local and state level for many years. She was a volunteer for over 30 years at Meadowlands Hospital of Secaucus, member and past president of the AARP, Treasurer of the Garden Club, founding member of the Red Hats and member of Mount Carmel Seniors, all of Lyndhurst. She was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. She took great pride in providing food and clothing to the Veteran's Home in Newark as well as collecting turkeys for families in need during the holidays. Phyllis focused her life around her family, friends and her faith. Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Warren F. Bogle in 1999 and her son, Dennis A. Bogle in 2008. She is survived by her loving children, Warren F. Bogle, Jr. and his wife, Susan, Philip R. Bogle and his wife, Barbara and Toni E. Gill and her husband, David, by her devoted nine grandchildren, by her three great grandchildren and by her brother, John Monaco and his wife, Hilda. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst at 10 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 11 AM Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart Church or to a parish of your choice.
