Curry, Thomas F., 70, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Mr. Curry was born in New York City, lived in Jersey City and was a resident of Lyndhurst since 1973. Thomas served in the Army National Guard. He was revered in the railroad transportation industry for the knowledge and innovation he demonstrated in a career that spanned 50 years. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine S. (nee Sicola) in 2002 and his brother, Arthur Curry. He is survived by his loving daughters, Susan Cox & her husband, Joseph, Laura Giangeruso & her husband, Shawn and Colleen Curry and by his dear grandchildren, Zachary & Ethan Cox and Olivia & Delaney Giangeruso and by his sister, Mary Ann Horsfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 8:30AM then to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065.
