Polito, Rita R., (nee McCann) 83, died on Saturday June 26, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Polito was born and raised in Jersey City, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 37 years. She was a Homemaker. Rita is predeceased by her beloved husband Angelo J. Polito in 2009 and her grandson, James Polito, Jr. She is survived by her loving sons, James F. Polito Sr., Michael T. Polito Sr. and his wife Diane and Angelo J. Polito Jr., and her six dear grandchildren, Dana, Michael, Michelle, Lisa, Dina and Michael Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday June 29, 2010 at 8:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, Visiting hours Sunday and Monday 2-6PM.
