Calabrese, Michael R. 76, died on Saturday June 26, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Calabrese was born and raised in Jersey City, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 41 years. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked as a Trailor Truck Driver for Ryerson Steel, Jersey City for many years before he retired in 1982. Mr. Calabrese was a member of the Mount Carmel Seniors and the Lyndhurst AARP. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Jacquelyn (nee Busichio) Calabrese, his loving daughters Diane Favalore, Gale Calabrese and Susan Jeffaf, six grandchildren, and one great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday June 28, 2010 at 9:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation private. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM.
