Tremonte, Pasquale "Pat", 88, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Mr. Tremonte was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1954. He was a WWII Army Veteran of the 450th Bombardment Group (1944-1946). He was the President & Owner of Fulton Building, Co., Lyndhurst for 60 years, the president of Universal Bonding Co., and a member of the board of directors for Valley National Bank. He also was a member of the Columbus Club and AmVets Post #20, both of Lyndhurst. Pat is predeceased by his son, George Tremonte in 1971 and son in law, Joseph Saltarelli in 2006. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Margaret "Peggy"(nee Seibert) Tremonte, by his loving children, Patricia Purvin & her husband, Bruce, Pellegrino " Billy" Tremonte & his wife, Barbara, Bernadette Saltarelli, Michael Tremonte & his wife, Barbara and Mary Ellen Young & her husband, Elvis, by his dear grandchildren, Kimberly Rubliatus (Michael), Bruce Purvin, Jr.(Jaime), Bryan Purvin, Kelly Diffenderfen (Eric), Dawn Marcano (Raymond), Tricia Saltarelli, Jennifer Bedrin (Michael), Tara Moreau (Scott), Georgeann Sherrow (Robert), Kaitlin, Taylor and Abbey Tremonte, AJ, Brittany and Maggie Young, by his 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Jean Lacidonia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home ,Inc, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Sunday 6-8PM & Monday 4-8PM.
