Obituary of Anthony Ruvo

Ruvo, Anthony, 85, of Lyndhurst, died on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mr. Ruvo was born in Belleville and has been a life long resident of Lyndhurst. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War 1953-1960. Anthony graduated from the Germaine School of Photography, NYC. He enjoyed freelance photography for many years, while working as an Office Manager for Springmeier Shipping, Co., So. Kearny, for over 45 years. He was also a member of the B.P.O.Elks Lodge #1505 and Knights of Columbus #2396, both of Lyndhurst. He is predeceased by his brother, Frank Ruvo. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Marie (nee Nucera) Ruvo, by his loving son, A.J. Ruvo & his wife, Sasha, by his dear grandson, Alex James Ruvo, by his sister and brother, Lee Cocuzza and Angelo Ruvo, and by many loving nieces and nephews, especially Gary F. Souss and Frank A. Ruvo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM.
