Gentile, Francis "Frank" Salvatore, of Galloway and formerly of Lyndhurst, passed peacefully on July 7, 2016 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of 63 years to the late Antoinette "Nettie"(n�e Colavita), he was the father of Linda Tutunjian and her husband, Ronald, Francine Gentile and her husband, David Taylor, and Annette Mores and her husband, Robert. Frank adored his grandchildren, the late Kevin Tutunjian, Lisa Tutunjian Muniz, Zoey Kohn and her husband, Scott Lochmann, Allegra Kohn Stuart and her husband, Gregory, Ashley Mores Tallman and her husband, Tyler, and Matthew Mores as well as his great-grandchildren Heaven-Leigh Melo, Jaden Muniz, Quincy and Nolan Lochmann, Morgan and Rosalie Stuart, and Conner Tallman. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. Frank was a World War II Veteran of the US Marine Corps, a business owner and route salesman, the consummate family man who loved being surrounded by his family. He was well-loved by everyone who met him; always had a kind word and a smile and an optimistic outlook on life. He will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation private. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made in Frank's name to: Adopt a Soldier Platoon, P.O. Box 1111, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.
