Piserchia, Sr., Gerardo, 84, died on Thursday, March 7, 2019.  Mr. Piserchia was born in Santomenna, Italy, moved to the United States in 1953, settling in Jersey City, where he married, worked and raised his family. He moved to North Arlington in 1997 and has been a resident there for the past 21 years.  He was an Electrician for Jersey City Medical Center for 30+ years before he retired.  He was the past president of the AFCIU, Jersey City.  He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carmela Piserchia (nee Inglese) in April 2015.  He is survived by his loving children, Gerardo Piserchia,  Maria Schlemm & the late, Allan Schlemm, by his daughter in law, Tina Piserchia and by his dear grandchildren, Jeremy, Leah, and Mark.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 1 to 5PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 9:30AM.  Funeral Service begins 10:30AM.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
