Obituary of Joseph M. Cucco

Cucco, Joseph M. “Meech,” 71, of Clifton, died on Saturday, May 25, 2019.  Mr. Cucco was born and raised in Passaic before moving to Lyndhurst in 1978.  He was a resident of East Rutherford for 8 years before moving to Clifton where he lived for the past 3 years.  Joseph proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked for Roadmasters Towing in East Rutherford, Brogan Cadillac, East Rutherford Autobody as a parts manager, and eventually worked for Kingsland Meat in Lyndhurst.  He was a member of the VFW Post 7165 in Clifton.  Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Gloria Cucco (nee Arpino) and their loving daughters, Gina Papenberg and her husband, Joseph and Josephine Calabrese and her husband, Jason, by his cherished grandchildren, Shealyn and Zachary Papenberg and Anthony Calabrese, by his dear sister, Constance Cucco, by his Aunt Anne and Uncle Joseph Jasmine, and by his cousins, Joanne and Marianne Jasmine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4 – 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 29 at 9 AM where a funeral service will begin at 10 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, Joseph’s family requests donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675
