Obituary of Ann A. Sheridan

Sheridan, Ann A., (nee Sutton), loving mother and aunt, 89, died peacefully at home on Monday, February, 24, 2020.  Mrs. Sheridan was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to North Arlington in 1989.  For many years she was a second-grade teacher at St. John's School in Jersey City where her greatest joy was in preparing her children for first holy communion.  Ann was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Thomas Sutton, her husband, Leonard Sheridan (1971) and her sister, Claire Venner.  Ann is survived by her children, Michael (King) and Patricia.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Raymond (Ainsley), Claire Marie (Gary), Janice, Robyn (Jim), Orren and Alec as well as her cousins, Pat, Judy, Cathy and Sharon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 3 to 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 9AM, then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, where at 10AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
