Obituary of Joseph Correia

Correia, Joseph, 70, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, April 20, 2020.  Mr. Correia was born in Georgetown, Guyana and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst after coming to the United States.  He worked as a warehouse supervisor for Liz Claiborne for many years and then as a stock clerk for Fortunoff and HomeGoods.  Joseph was an animal lover and enjoyed helping anyone in need.  He is survived by his loving children, Jason Correia and his wife, Jennifer, Jevon Correia, and Jessica Correia, by his cherished grandchildren, David, Caitlin, Ilyana, Wyland, Sylah, Shelby, Piper, and Gunner, by his dear sisters, Brenda and her husband, Clive de Freitas, Marie and her husband, Jim Feeley, Julie and her husband, Noel Camacho, and Bridget and her late husband, Andrew Kolibas and their families, by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Private cremation will be held under the direction of the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, New Jersey.  Please express your condolences to Joseph's family on our Tribute Wall.  In lieu of flowers, Joseph's family requests donations be made in his memory to the Bergen County Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ 07608
