Mom, I cannot believe it is almost a year. My heart still aches and I still play over and over the last voice mail I have from you. I watched the lovely video again today. I hope it met your standards. I miss you everyday and still feels that this is a bad dream that I cannot wake up from. RIP Mom. Love you always

Your memorial was beautiful but not everyone was able to attend. But we came together to celebrate you and the remarkable woman you were. Thanksgiving was hard without you and I saw you all day. I am thankful for the time I had with you and more importantly the last 4 years. It keeps me going. Loving and missing you everyday. Rest in Peace mom

3 months have passed Mom, it still seems so unreal. We are picking up the shattered pieces of our hearts, and trying to move on. You have been a great guardian angel. Continue to watch over us. I pray that you are dancing, singing and having the greatest time with the ones you love that have gone before you. Miss and love you forever mom ❤❤❤

2 months has flown by in the blink of an eye mom but we’re all doing ok . And you did an awesome job on your first guardian angel run !! I know it will be but the first of many . I hope it’s as beautiful peaceful and song filled as we hope and you are with everyone who loves you and you love . We’re taking really good care of daddy - don’t worry for a second - and the kids will make sure he has many moments of happiness and joy . We love you - Denise

Mom,
Although we did not want you to leave, it was time for you to go. How much we will dearly miss you, only time will show. Trying to find the words to truly express what you meant to me, just won't come and I cannot find them, so this will just have to be. The sun rose up on you and the moon fell at your feet. The pain that my heart now feels, runs oh so very deep. But you are home, no more fighting, no more pain, and on the day you left us, there was only rain. So rest my mom and know that your job on earth is done, and down the road we will be together and then I'll see the sun.
RIP Mom, you have earned your wings. Watch over us, our guardian angel and lead us through our lives, until we are together again. I love you.

Hi Valerie:
You may remember me as "Terry"... the daughter of Tony and Annette Blunda. I go by "T. T." or "T" now.
I remember you and your siblings and parents..from when all of us kids played together in Jersey City. So much fun all year round. So much laughter and so many smiles... All of us.
I live a few towns away from your parents' home. I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss of your Mom. I am sure she is already with others she loves.. but i feel so bad for your Dad and all of you. Please give him, Denise, Patrice, and your brothers my deepest sympathies. We lost my Dad in late 2017.
Maybe i will see you sometime after the evil pandemic passes.
Love and Peace for now.
PS: We love you, Barbara ❤
We always remember your Mom's friendly voice, her big smile, and her laughter.

Linda Marshall (Kostan) posted a condolence
Thursday, April 30, 2020
I, Linda Kostan, lived at 326 Willow Avenue for 27 years. In 1994 my husband, Harold got liver cancer from Agent Orange in Vietnam. I was a Girl Scout leader in Lyndhurst for 18 years. I had 3 dogs during the 27 years that I was there and walked them daily. Barbara and I used to talk about the kids and our gardens. As Harold got worse I had to quit Girl Scouts and Barbara watched Harold for an hour or so while I told my troop, the girls and their parents, that I was unable to continue as their leader. Harold passes March 1997. Every year my friend Joe and I (Harold's best friend), put grave blankets on his parent's graves on Orient way, we now live in Pennsylvania, and every year we spent 1 or 2 hours with Barbara in her home soon realizing that she was ill and we shared fond memories of my daughter, Heather and one of her son's Andrew (Drew), playing as children for quite a number of years. They are still in touch with each other. It pains me to now not to hear her voice again - I will sure miss her.

I will never forget how Barbara (Mom) would laugh at Andrews zany ideas weather it was fashioning Halloween costumes for us out of her curtains or arriving home with a literal carload of foam rubber. She always welcomed our childhood crazies with laugher and love. She will be missed.
Rest In Peace until we meet again.

Sorry to hear of Barbs' passing. seems like it was just yesterday we were going shopping in my old Lincoln Town or going into NYC to see plays. When we saw Cats, Barb left the theater singing "Memories" at the top of her lungs and all the way back to Lyndhurst. Will never forget her. Dee Sanchez
