Though his smile is gone forever
and his hand you cannot touch,
You still have so many memories
Of the one you loved so much.
His memory is now your keepsake
Which with you’ll never part.
God has him in his keeping,
You have him in your heart.
Sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Diana & family
Our deepest condolences.

Today our extended family mourns a great loss...but we should rejoice in the happiness and joy he (my uncle) brought into the world. I remember my Uncle Eric with fondest of memories...he was a constant joker, always with a smile on his face. It might actually have been him that helped me with my first bet at the Meadowlands! :-) On a serious note, I wouldn’t be alive today if not for him...he saved my life when I was 7 or 8 in the house I spent my summers as a child (at the "cousins" house)...darn plum pit! Remember the good and know he’s resting peacefully now. RIP Uncle Eric.

Eric was one of my best friends who I met 40 years ago at the Lyndhurst American Legion. We had many great times going on 13 cruises, attending many American Legion State Conventions and followed our baseball team always cooking when we hosted tournaments. I can't count the number of times we went to Atlantic City. He was definitely a character and one of a kind. I'm going to miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marie, their children, grandchildren, great grandson and his brother Al.

Dear Marie and Family.
On behalf of my mother, Elaine, and our family, we are so sorry and saddened so hear of Eric's passing. Eric was a fine man, a wonderful friend; a Patriot and was devoted to his family. As you know, my father adored him. As did I. It has seemed that after Dad's passing, so many of his dear friends from the Legion seem to be going home; I personally will never forget Eric. He was one of the good guys and all who knew him loved him. Please accept our deepest and most heartfelt condolences, and may his memory serve to always bring a smile to your face.
In Sypathy,
Brian Haggerty

This truly saddens me today! Worked hand in hand with Eric for many years and I can tell you there is not a better person to have worked with.Always made the work load fair no matter where you were on the seniority list. Just a great all around guy to be spending 8 hrs.a day with. Many many laughs and funny stories to go around too, back when we were allowed to actually have fun on the job. Learned a lot from him too!. Always respectful to My Parents and my Wife and Son ! My deepest sympathies to the Despotovich family. Marie, Linda and Eric Jr.who i know for many years. Louis J.
