Dearest Rita was someone that you immediately adored when you met her. Her strength and her passion emulated in every conversation that she had with such pride about her town and most importantly her family. Ever smiling, and truly cared and listened as she had a conversation with you. Always asked about your children or grandchildren. I missed seeing her at each and every “music in the park“ as she sat with her friends enjoying special events & moments with her community. She was a force to be reckoned with on earth and I’m sure the same applies in heaven. I believe God has truly prepared a place for her where she has reunited with her friends and family once again as she waits to embrace those that are here and will be missing her. May God continue to bless Rita and her family until she greats them again with open arms.
May peace be with you as you reflect on the beautiful person and life of Rita & her love and wisdom that remains with you all

She was a wonderful woman. She lived in my building and we would sit in the court yard and she would tell me stories of my family that she knew and loved. She grew up with my uncles and aunts and adored my grandmother. RIP Rita you will be missed.

Rita I will never forget the times we have shared together, through Elections, Fundraisers, going to Dinners together and having you as a great neighbor. We will miss your beautiful smile but we know you will always be looking out for everyone as you cared for so many people in this town and al of your hard work and money spent. Rest in Peace, the Angels are very lucky to have you. Love you Always,

We are so sorry to hear of Rita's passing, But we were proud to know her. She always loved Lyndhurst. I had the honor to work with her in the concession stand at Lyndhurst high school. She was a very active Moma bear always helping she will be greatly missed. I can see her and Jenny Servidio at the concession stand in heaven,
