I have many great memories of Andrea and Cas while doing one of my favorite pastimes, bowling. Great Years spent either on Andreas team or bowling on the same league. Hanging out afterwards at the Tik Tok diner or iHop. She was a great person, always smiling and quick with a hug. Andrew grew to be a great friend.
Sometimes when people move away and not see each other anymore friendships falter, but not Andrea, when I would be in the area and visit it was like old times, no time had passed.
To Cas, my friend, I loved her too and will miss her greatly. You have my condolences. If you need anything just give me a ring and I'll be there.

Andrea was one of my first childhood friends. I remember her kindness, sense of humor, and playful sarcasm. Any popular 80s song that I hear brings me straight back to the many afternoons that I would spend at Andrea’s house watching music videos, sitting on the porch with the boom box of the day, or walking the “Avenue." She was a generous soul-- Andrea brought me to her home one day, her family was so welcoming, and next thing you know, I was there all the time! As grade school kids, I remember our small circle of friends would anticipate Andrea’s return from her trips to California for her to share everything about the new trends in CA. Though our paths grew apart over the years, I am blessed that Andrea was such a big part of my life, and she will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Sue and Family of Andrea,
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss of Andrea, the Angel. Andrea will live through someone else who's life is about to be saved by her organs' donation. I watched the Flag Raising Ceremony from the Hackensack University Medical Center, honoring Andrea and her generous gift of herself. Towards the end of this Ceremony, a plane flew over. It was symbolic of Andrea's departure, and at the same time of her quick, heartful wit, generously shared by her with anyone taking part in her life's journey.
Andrea will be greatly missed but she is now amongst other Angels,

We were instant friends. Maybe it was the sarcasm or dry sense of humor that linked us? You had such a giving and caring soul, and never expected anything in return. You could bust chops with the best of them, and man did I feel sorry for you if you were on her bad side. We had a lot of laughs, a lot of good memories; I'm sorry you had to wake up to Moons over Miami I'm glad I was able to see you once last time. It is with the most saddest of hearts that I share the news that my special intention, my cousin who was more like a sister, Andrea has passed away.
Her physical presence will be missed but she will always be in our hearts and on our minds. The memories we have made together will never fade.
She is finally whole again.
I will miss you Angie babes...
Until we dance again to "Last Dance" by Donna Summer like we did when we were little and way more flexible....
I will watch for you fluttering around my beautiful free butterfly
Heavenly Father,
Open your arms to my sweet Andrea. Bless her with your healing powers. Let her fly with the angels and have watch over all of us here on earth. Remind her how much she is loved. Guide us all through this difficult time. Let us feel her presence in the warmth of the sun, in the beauty of the flowers, in the gentle winds that blow and when the butterflies flutter by.
I pray this in Jesus name.

I was friends with Andrea for many years growing up on Sherman Ave. We would always be together after school with her cousin, Christine. It was the summer memories that I remember the most. Swimming in the pool and singing along to the Grease soundtrack from the bedroom window. We thought we were so good. She and I spent many summer days playing with her Barbie dream house that we would drag out to the front porch. When it was too hot, we’d listen to records in her room for hours. Such great memories! She was one of my first true friends growing up and for that, I am very grateful. To Susan, Brian, Cas and her extended family my sincere condolences. There is comfort in knowing that she is at peace and free from the struggles she had over the last few years. Rest easy, my friend. You will be missed!
