Obituary of Andrea Tedino

Tedino, Andrea, 51, of Wayne and formerly of Clifton, died on Sunday, April 10, 2022.  Ms. Tedino was born and raised in Jersey City, moved to Lyndhurst in 1987, where she lived while attending college.  In 1993, she graduated from William Paterson College and settled in Clifton.  Shortly after getting engaged to her fiancé, Casimir Kostnicki and began working as a journalist for three years for The Bergen Record, becoming managing editor during her time there.  She then began working at Globe Shoes in Paramus, becoming a supervisor where after 25 years, she was considered as part of the Globe family.  She lived in Wayne at Lakeview Rehabilitation and Care Center from June 2019 to April 2022.    Andrea also started Andrea's Gift Baskets, which for five years allowed her to contribute gift baskets to various NJ communities and state fairs. She loved vacationing in California and Lake George, treasured spending time with all of her cousins, and enjoyed bowling in a league with her fiancé.

Andrea was predeceased by her father, Joseph Tedino of Torrance, CA in April 2018 and by her step-father, Joseph Benson in March 2013 and is survived by her beloved mother, Susan Benson (nee Kohl), by her brother Brian James Benson and his wife, Jessica Rose Fuller Benson of Wayne, by her niece and goddaughter, Alexsa Rose Benson, by her aunt and godmother, Marie Tedino King of Torrance, CA, by her uncle and godfather, Dennis Kohl and his wife, Elsie of Wanaque, by her aunt, Carol Tunnell of Hopatcong, by her aunt, Marge Kohl of Toms River, by her fiancé, Casimir Kostnicki of Clifton, and by many loving cousins from NJ and CA.  Andrea had a very large, loving family and very special friendships that stretched across New Jersey, California, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, England, and New Zealand.  Andrea had a heart of gold and will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
