What I remember most about Charlie is the respect, kindness, and patience he treated not only the veterans at the American Legion but everyone who crossed his path. As a bartender I saw a lot of him during the terrible time when he lost his wife and his two closest friends. Although he never complained, I could tell he was suffering in silence. He did continue to play pool and I was grateful when he found a connection, friendship, and comfort with Sue. It was heartwarming to see the joy and happiness blossom in both their lives. May his memory be a blessing and a comfort to those who mourn him.

So many memories Mr. Matthew.
Grandma moving in and only speaking Italian. The smell of food seemed never unusual. How Mrs Matthew loved to cook. Pasta Fagioli aka PASTA FAZOOL was a favorite. And that kitchen remodel. In the basement we went. So many laughs in that house. If walls could talk. You Rest in peace and enjoy being reunited with your wife.
Michelle- I am so very sorry to hear about your husband.
My deepest condolences. I gotta good one. Me and Vicky practical joking you about your car payment. I haven’t forgotten that. When I tell my practical joke stories, you’re in them.
Praying for strength for your family and friends.
