Obituary of Janie Marie Paluzzi

Paluzzi, Janie Marie (nee Scaglione), 69, died on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  Janie was born in Bayonne, raised in Lyndhurst and moved to Hightstown to raise her family for 40 years.   She worked as an Executive Administrator for Johnson & Johnson for 38 years. Those closest to her knew her as smiling, witty and joyful. Janie loved spending time with friends and family between cooking, gardening, and crafting she was always there to lend or extend a helping hand and invite you in.  Her joy was contagious to everyone blessed to be in her company and a part of her life. The quietness of her absence leaves us heartbroken and we will miss her deeply. 

Janie is survived by her high school sweetheart and beloved husband of 45 years, Joseph A. Paluzzi, her daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Neil Campbell, and her grandkids Corey, Abby, and Vincent Campbell.  She is also survived by her dear brothers and sisters, Doug Greene, Frank Scaglione, Rosanne Stewart, Kay Holub, Jimmy Halligan and George Halligan as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 149 Copeland Avenue, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at  10:45AM.  Mass begins 11AM.  Repast to follow at  Lassoni Restaurant, 602 Ridge Road, North Arlington, New Jersey 07031.  Please Omit flowers and make a donation in Janie's memory to Wounded Warriors Project @ support.woundedwarriorproject.org or Leukemia & Lymphoma Soceity at givenow.lls.org.  You may express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
